Vector

A field app for elevator and industrial support teams — searchable manuals, setup instructions, and Q&A so technicians resolve faults without leaving the site.

Overview

Vector puts technical documentation where crews actually work: on a phone at the station. Instead of PDFs scattered across laptops, the app organizes manuals, elevator adjustment steps, and station setup into a mobile workflow built for industrial support reality.

An in-app Questions & Answers path shortens the loop between symptom and fix, reducing downtime when a line or elevator cannot wait for a back-office reply.

The challenge

Industrial support fails when documentation is offline, fragmented, or written for the desk — not the shaft. Crews need searchable instructions and a clear Q&A path while standing at the equipment.

Approach

  • Structure manuals and adjustment instructions for mobile scanability.
  • Include station setup guides next to fault workflows.
  • Add Q&A so common issues resolve without a second tool.

Outcomes

  • On-site access to full technical manuals.
  • Elevator adjustment and station setup guidance in one app.
  • Faster fault resolution through in-app Q&A.
